VI ABSH National Math Olympics Team

On May 13, 2006, the VI ABSH National Math Olympics took place at the Academia Los Pinares in Tegucigalpa. Fifteen of the top bilingual schools in the country participated in this event. The group of students that represented our school were:

7th Grade

Pre-Algebra: Liliana Zúniga, Daniel Buezo, Luis Ovidio Suazo
Basic Math: Nadia Quiggle, Nency Aplícano, Herbert Yanes

8th Grade

Algebra I: Breslin Ríos, Daniel Maradiaga, Jorge Luis Jiménez

9th Grade

Geometry: Edwin Cruz, Alejandro Velásquez, Kenny Huang Pai
Algebra II: Nelson Yetsu, Thelma Maldonado

10th Grade

Trigonomety: Gabrielle Quiggle, Alan Aplícano, José Daniel Letona

11th Grade

Pre-calculus: Denise Portillo, Julia Rivera, Ludy Santos

In this important competition they earned the following recognition:

Basic Math: SUPERIOR LEVEL
Pre-Algebra: SUPERIOR LEVEL
Algebra I: VERY GOOD LEVEL
Geometry: EXCELLENT LEVEL
Trigonometry: VERY GOOD LEVEL
Pre-calculus: VERY GOOD LEVEL
